I have been sewing honest!

Well what a busy year it has been. I have had a busy time since last July but I have been sewing. I haven't done any major projects but small bits mainly as presents for friends and family especially with all the babies thst are arriving!  My sister had a gorgeous baby girl in January and my other sister is due next week and has asked for some help with the nursery.  Of course I said yes! We've been looking at pinterest for ideas and found lots of things she liked half of which I said we could do ourselves!


So first thing we started making pom poms for pom pom bunting.  They are going to look great but take a long time to make! Will post a picture when we are done.

I've also made a nursing cushion cover, I was not looking forward to making this as it's such a strange shape but after hunting on the Internet I found a tutorial on the following website boppy slipcover

So it didn't take that long and I'm pleased with how it looks.  It has made me realise I need to practice zips!

We don't know whether it will be a boy or a girl so I will keep you posted!
